Showcasing the top athletes in one of the world's most popular sports, competing in some of the best waves at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast, the Quiksilver Pro and Roxy Pro is the first World Championship Tour (WCT) events for the top ranked 32 professional male surfers and top ranked 17 professional female surfers.

The event will showcase the world’s best including local ASP World Champions Joel Parkinson (AUS), Mick Fanning (AUS) and Stephanie Gilmore (AUS).
