Teams Needed For Corporate Charity Surf Challenge!

AFTER a great Corporate Surf Event in 2008, The Board Meeting is pleased to announce that 2009’s Charity Surf Challenge will back again in November.
This year’s event will begin with an opening celebration at the Kawana Surf Club on Friday (November 6, 2009), followed by the beginning of competition on Saturday (November 7, 2009) from 6.00am.

There are many young people in need that The Board Meeting wish to help, but how much is completely determined by the number of teams registered for the charity event.
This year’s event will have the Prize Presentation immediately following the surfing competition at 1.00pm, with the Surf Gear & Memorabilia Auction following.
The event is open to young and old, amateur and pro, trade and professional.
Event Timetable
Friday 6.30 - 8.00pm - Event launch, location confirmation, competition outline, handing out of competitor gift bags & shirts, raffles and drinks at Kawana Surf Club.
Saturday 6.00am - Meet and set-up
6.30am First heats
11.30am Expression
1.00pm Presentations
1.30pm Auction & celebrations
Organizers welcome donations from individuals and businesses wishing to support the cause without participating in the contest.
